Booking Your Driving Theory Test
Booking the theory test is something that we do for you, as navigating the correct route through DVLA can be difficult. However, we have much experience and can ensure a smooth process.
We are confident that you will be able to pass your theory test on the first attempt with no problems, but we do offer a free re booking service in case you happen to have issues on the day.
About the Driving Theory Test
The theory test is one part of your UK driving licence requirement, and it is designed to prove that you have an understanding of the road around you. You cannot progress to your practical test until this has been passed.
The test has two parts, a multiple-choice quiz and then a hazard perception simulation where you will need to quickly and correctly pick up on any hazards being shown on the screen in front of you. The practise we offer has the same format so it will be familiar to you on the day.
Taking the Test
The biggest piece of advice we can offer you is to arrive at 15 minutes early for your test. If you are late the doors will have closed and you will not be allowed in and immediately disqualified with a fail. This is a very strict rule we cannot appeal it for you.
You are not allowed to take anything into the room with you, and will be given a looker to secure your personal belongings in. Ensure you leave your mobile phone and anything else behind as you can also be immediately disqualified on the grounds of cheating if you are caught with any electronic devices or pieces of paper etc.
After the Test
You will not have to wait for your test result as it will be available for you on completion. You will receive a computer-generated breakdown of how you performed in each element of the test which will enable you to revise correctly if you happened to fail.
