 There is no Direct Line into the building so candidates should ensure they have figured out the location and what needs to happen on the day well in advance. The only way you can contact the centre is via a messaging service using the DVLA general switchboard and the number is shown below:

 This test centre is part of Erskine house, which is located opposite the Clyde Shopping Centre. To access the building, you should use the right-hand side entry road via the Clydebank Business Park.

 If you are being driven to the test centre, you will find parking facilities in the Clyde Shopping Centre, but this is restricted to customers only. There is also another car park on Onslow road, but this is quite a way away and would take 27 minutes to walk in.

 For candidates using the bus, the Clydebank bus interchange is located on Chalmers St, and is a 12-minute walk being 0.6 miles away.

 if you are using the train, the station is 0.1 miles away and takes 2 minutes to walk in. you need Clydebank Singer train station, Kilbowie Road, Clydebank, G81 2JQ

 Booking Your Driving Theory Test

 About the Driving Theory Test

 The driving theory test forms one of two tests that you must pass in order to obtain a full UK driving licence. The driving theory test is designed to ensure that you understand the rules of the road before moving onto the practical element.

 The test will form 2 parts and be conducted on computer. It should look very similar to the practises you would have done with us and will feature a multiple-choice quiz and a hazard perception simulation where you will be asked to correctly identify hazards on the road and react quickly to them.

 Taking the Test

 It is really important that you arrive at the driving test centre 15 minutes before your exam, as being late will result in an immediate disqualification and a fail. This is a particularly strict rule and a decision that they will not reverse even if appealed.

 On arrival you will be given a locker and should secure all of your personal belongings into there before the start of the test. You may not take anything but the locker key into the test room with you and this includes mobile phones, pieces of paper, or any other electronic devices. If you are suspected of cheating, you are immediately failed.

 After the Test

 As the test is conducted on computer, the results are instant unavailable when you have finished. you will be given a printout which details whether you have passed or failed and also shows how well you performed during each portion of the test.
