What is the theory test pass mark?

The pass mark for the car test is 86% and you must answer at least 43 out 50 multiple choice questions correctly to pass. You also need to score 44 out of 75 on the hazard perception test to successfully complete the overall theory test.

RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLING THE THEORY TEST

ATTENDING THE THEORY TEST

All theory test centres have pre-arranged allocated test times. As a result, if you arrive late, you won't be allowed to sit the test. You need to bring along your provisional license, passport or driving license. If you've lost your license, contact the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) who'll send you a replacement.
