Grimsby Car driving Theory Test Centre

You will need to arrive at the test centre at least 30 minutes before your scheduled test time. You will need to bring your driving license, a valid passport or national identity card, and your booking confirmation with you. You will be asked to sign a declaration confirming that the information you have provided is correct and that you understand the rules of the car theory test.

The car theory test is made up of two parts; the multiple-choice part and the hazard perception part. The multiple-choice part consists of 50 questions and you will have 57 minutes to complete this section. The pass mark for the multiple-choice part is 43 out of 50. The hazard perception part consists of 14 video clips. Each clip contains one or more developing hazard. You will be asked to click a mouse button whenever you notice a developing hazard, such as when the car ahead starts braking or when another car enters your blind spot. There are five points available for each developing hazard and the pass mark is 44 out of 75 in total.
