Directions
There are multiple ways to get to the test centre. If you’re going to reach it via the help of a car, then the nearest parking is at The Groe, which is located on the same road as the test centre, so you will only have to walk a minute down the road.
The nearest stop to the test centre is on Strand Hall, and is located 2-5 minutes away from the test centre if you are someone who wants to get there via bus. Alternatively, there is a train station, and you can reach it via Builth Road. Booking Your Driving Theory Test
When you want to book in the driving theory test, you don’t have to do it. We do it for you, communicating with the DVLA on your behalf to make sure that your experience is as straightforward as possible. We are prompt, and also offer a free rebooking service for anyone who needs it.
About the Driving Theory Test
Your driving theory test is designed to make sure that you fully understand and can work with the common road signs and laws of driving. You will be tested on a selection of different things, with the end goal to make sure that your knowledge is the best it can be. This will consist of a multiple-choice quiz, and then you will need to complete a driving simulation where you will have to identify hazards.
Taking the Test
When you arrive to take your test, you will need to make sure that you have arrived 15 minutes early to the test centre, because the DVLA has the right to automatically fail any candidates which it feels are late. Please also place all of your belongings into a secure storage locker for safe keeping.
After the Test
When the test has been completed, you will then be given a piece of paper which will tell you how well you have done at the various parts of the test. You will also know whether you have passed or failed automatically.
